The Measurement Process
Taking your body measurements
Please use the following guide on measurements in order to determine your body measurements before placing orders with the House of Gillani.
Neck Measurement
1. Place the measuring tape around the neck where the collar normally rests, slightly below the Adam's apple.
2. Place one finger between the measuring tape and neck ensuring that the tape is not too tight.
3. Record the measurement as appropriate.
Chest Measurement
1. Raising both arms, place the measuring tape around the chest.
2. Ensure that the measuring tape is covering the widest part of the chest.
3. Ensure that the measuring tape is not too tight around the chest and that there is a finger space between the chest and the tape.
4. Record the measurement as appropriate.
Arm Length Measurement
1. Place the measuring tape at the top of the arm, at the point between the shoulder and arm.
2. Following the natural contour of the arm, track the length of the measuring tape until the point where you desire the thobe's sleeve to finish.
3. Record the measurement as appropriate.
Shoulder Measurement
1. Ensure that the shoulders of relaxed
2. Locate the shoulder point and run the measuring tape from one shoulder point to the other. Ensure that the tape is traced along the natural contour of the shoulder.
4. Record the measurement as appropriate.
Waist Measurement
1. Standing upright, run the measuring tape around the waist, above the hips, emncompassing the widest part of the waist.
3. Ensure that the measuring tape is not too tight around the waist and that there is a finger-space between measuring tape and waist.
4. Record the measurement as appropriate.
Length Measurement
1. Ensure an upright and relaxed stance.
2. Please the measuring tape at the shoulder, adjacent to the neck.
3. Trace the measuring tape along the natural contour of the body from the shoulder, moving down finishing at the desired thobe length.
4. Record the measurement as appropriate.

1. Place the measuring tape around the wrist.
2. Trace the tape around the wrist, ensuring that the tape is not too tight. Insure at least one finger space gap between the wrist and the tape
